About
Hellooooo Humans!
Welcome to my newly revamped blog! I’m Kadye.
I’m from near the birth place of Rock ‘n’ Roll and the world’s best BBQ. I started this blog as a creative outlet and to follow my progress for my 101 in 1001 project. Now, this blog has a purpose. I’m going to work in Orlando this fall and so is a friend. This friend has convinced me to participate in the Disney half marathon in January. So, this is to show my progress from being a lazy bum to finishing a half marathon. (EEEEEEP!)
So, a little about me:
I’m a college student getting my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality & Resort Management. I work a secretarial office job, as box office manager for the music department, as a techie in a theatre (not the movie kind), and as a head counselor for a summer music camp. (If you can’t tell, I used to be a music major – instrument: Saxophone.) I’m going to work for an amazing company this fall and I love photography. I’m hoping to practice my photography skills while I’m down there. I love Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, and I think carrot cake/cheesecake/and fruit cakes are all fake cakes.
I’m not very healthy. That’s just a blunt fact. I went to college underweight and having no clue about nutrition. Now, I’m overweight. This will be discussed more thoroughly in another post. So, now I’m trying to fix this! I’m hoping to learn about REAL foods and stop eating so much processed junk. This will be hard, but it will be worth it. Either pay more now to buy healthy foods or pay for hospital bills later, right?
I’m getting married next year on 12-21-12, to the love of my life. I’ll be talking about that on here, too. It’s still far enough away where I’m in the pre-planning process.

Oh! I played saxophone in high school but quit after!
Congrats on your upcoming wedding!
I haven’t played my saxophone is so long! I keeps saying I’m going to go buy new reeds and play for fun… and then I forget. Ha! And thank you!
